Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast who was captain for the US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. the Final Five. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions and also the floor exercises. For the balance beam, she earned the bronze medal. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. In the 2016 Olympics she was awarded an Olympic gold medal for the team event, which gave her and teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been the first Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. She also won silver medals at the individual all-around and for the floor workout. In between the two Olympics she took a break from gymnastics competition for three years. Additionally, she was one of the gold medal winning American squads at the two World Championships. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly has a strong support for an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She hopes to become an entrepreneur in fashion and broaden her line of leotards and socks in the coming years. Fierce is a novel that she's currently writing, is due out this year.
